Heather Driscoll for State Assembly

Created during the early stages of the pandemic and the height of the Black Lives Matter protests in response to the brutal murder of George Floyd, these political ads captured the urgency of the time while representing how State Assembly candidate Heather Driscoll’s life story and past work aligned with the moment. A gradual zoom into Heather’s face brings the audience into an increasingly intimate setting as the script shifts from the nationwide narrative to the personal one. Half Cup Studio wrote the script, directed, shot and edited the final products.
